Hello, we’re Stefan & Merel
In 2026 we took over Casa Joia and made it our home. We live in the cottage on the grounds, so we are always close by when you need a tip, a hand or an extra towel.
What we love most about this place: the silence in the evening, the view over the hills and the fact that the ocean is never far away.
One garden, three places to stay
Casa Joia lies in the countryside near Monte Judeu, a small village just outside Lagos. The Safari Lodge, The Wing, the Wooden House and our own home share a large garden with a big swimming pool at its heart.
